2005 is Eloy's debut year as solo artist in GERMANY. "Boom Boom" is the title of his single . The single is a preview of Eloy's first solo album that will be released hopefully later this year. After entering the Dutch chart last year with the single "Angel in Disguise "Eloy is now ready for the German audience again.

Eloy, born in The Hague (Holland) and raised in Zoetermeer (Holland), discovers his feeling for music and rhythm as a little boy and starts to train Latin American Dance at the age of eight. Many national and international dancing competitions follow and at the age of 17 Eloy becomes the Dutch Youth Champion.

In the early 90's Eloy joins the boyband "Caught In The Act", a very successful group that sells millions of albums in all parts of the world and wins many awards. In no time the boys of "Caught In The Act" become superstars in Germany, Asia and many other countries worldwide. Eloy is one of two Dutch "Caught In The Act" members, the second one is Bastiaan Ragas, known for his leading parts in musicals like "Aïda" and "3 Musketeers". The British half consists of Lee Baxter and Benjamin Boyce.

"Caught In The Act" really take off when releasing the single "Love Is Everywhere". In no time this single sells almost half a million copies. The boys appear in Germany's biggest TV soap, "Gute Zeiten, Schlechte Zeiten" ("Good times, Bad times") for no less than 14 episodes and is seen by millions of German households. Many Top 10 hits and albums follow and the boys appear on every magazine cover and radio station and their merchandise sells like crazy. Gold and Platinum awards for various video's and records follow from countries like: Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Slovenia, Czech Republic, Taiwan and Indonesia as well as important awards like Goldene Löwe, Best Newcomer Austria (Rennbahnexpress), Best Band (Popcorn magazine) and multiple BRAVO Awards. Their official Danillo calendar becomes the best selling calendar in Germany in 1996-1997. Therefore it's no surprise that the best selling copy of BRAVO ever ( 1.500.000 copies ) present "Caught In The Act" on the cover! With there "Love Is Everywhere-Tour", "Forever Friends-Tour" and the "X-Mass Tour" the boys cover all the big venues in Germany, Austria & Switzerland performing live for hundreds of thousands of ecstatic fans. But it doesn't stop there. The boys manage to conquer the charts in Eastern Europe, Asia, Latin America, Australia, Africa and many other parts of the world, where they also win several awards. The boys perform during the Miss-Universe contest in South Africa and share stages with artists like: Spice Girls, Rod Stewart, Take That, The Bee Gees, Justin Timberlake's N-Sync and many others. The Backstreet Boys warm up the crowd during one of the international "Caught In The Act" tours. In august 1998 the boys of "Caught In The Act" all decide to go their separate way and the band splits up. An emotional farewell concert ( with many crying faces from fans as well as members of the band ) in Magdenburg follows, where thousands of fans, for the last time, witness the boys performing all their hits. The Manager of the Backstreet Boys (especially flown over from the USA) thank the band on stage for the help they gave the Backstreet Boys. Eloy sings the final song and the "Caught In The Act" theme "We Belong Together" and surrounded by fireworks the band members take their last bow as "Caught In The Act".

One year after the "Caught In The Act" break up Eloy is the official host of a big live Award show for RTL in Germany.

Eloy moves on to a new stage in his life and starts his solo career. He signs with his Dutch record campagny and in 2004 starts his solocareer in Holland. ANGEL IN DISGUISE becomes Eloy's first single and charthit in Holland. At this moment Eloy is working on tracks for his first solo album. Eloy; "I can't wait to start performing again and share my musuc with the public ! " Eloy will do a lot of festivals in 2005 in Germany, Austria and switzerland". Eloy's show is a combination of big Caught in the Act hits mixed with new solo-material including his new single "BOOM BOOM "
